Important Notice About the Beginner Box

We would like to inform all players about an important change regarding the Beginner Box.

For more than a year, we have been giving away Beginner Boxes to every connected player every Sunday with almost no fail.
This was originally created as a way to help new players have a smoother start and enjoy the early stages of the game, and was something supposed to be done time to time not everytime.

However, over time, the Beginner Box started to be treated as something much more than its original purpose.
Instead of being seen as simple support for beginners, many players became too dependent on it.
In some cases, players would barely play during the week and would only return on Sunday just to claim the free box, some would go as far as threaten us, end up being toxic, or message staff requesting for it and much more.

Unfortunately, this ended up hurting the natural activity of the game and was not healthy for the server in the long term.

What Is Changing?

From now on, the Beginner Box will no longer be given away for free on Sundays.

It will now be available only in the donation shop.

At the moment, the current price is €0.90, although this may still change in the future.
The price could become slightly lower or slightly higher, but there will not be any major change, it will be affordable for everyone hopefully.

A Small Apology

We also want to apologize for this change. We understand that some players may be disappointed, and we do not make this decision lightly.

Still, this was something that needed to be done for the good of the game and the health of the server overall.

The Beginner Box was only meant to be a helpful extra for players, not something that would define weekly activity or become a reason for people to only log in on Sundays.

We hope everyone can understand the reason behind this decision, and we truly appreciate all the support the community has given us throughout this time.

About Us

        “Dragon Ball Online” is an online role-playing game supervised by the original comic author Akira Toriyama and developed by the Korean company Ntl-inc. The game is set 250 years after the end of the story of “Dragon Ball”. This is a peaceful era, but people are still working hard to practice. However, peace is not eternal, and mysterious invaders begin to appear in the world. Players must practice and solve mysteries in this world. In June 2011, Red Heart Chili Company represented “Dragon Ball OL” and launched two versions, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Subsequently, the game gradually became known to mainland players. However, operational failures led to the closure of the Korean, Taiwan and Hong Kong servers of the game in 2013. In 2016, a German team began the repair work of “Dragon Ball Online”, which later became “Dragon Ball Online Global” ( G Server). After several rounds of deletion tests, the version reached level 70 in 2019. However, due to technical problems, the team was unable to break through the 2.0 version and eventually opened the source code. Subsequently, the private server group quickly emerged, and private development teams followed up on the operation of private servers and took on the task of repairing them. However, despite their efforts, they were unable to completely repair the game, so they began to expand the multiple gameplay and form their own special servers. In October 2021, the DBOGalaxy team was established to revive a precious game that carries the youthful memories of a generation. After a lot of hard work and testing, we completed the basic operation of the game and some bug fixes, and launched the first version of the game in January 2022. So far, the story of “Dragon Ball Online Galaxy” (GX server) has begun. However, due to the limitations of personal ability, we finally cooperated with foreign partners to form a new team-“Galaxy Star Team”, looking forward to writing the future chapter with players.

Private Game Shareholders Agreement

Dear players, thank you for your continuous support. From today onward, you are considered  one of its community shareholders.
This game is a non-commercial private project, created solely for personal entertainment, learning, and communication. All game data is purchased online for private use only, and is not used for any commercial activity.

By continuing, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. I voluntarily support this project so that our community game can continue to operate and bring entertainment.

  2. I understand and confirm that any money I spend in this game is a voluntary donation, not a commercial transaction.

  3. I authorize the designated game administrator to allocate and manage all donated funds, and I acknowledge that these funds belong to the recipient.

  4. I share joint, non-commercial ownership of this private game with other players. This project is not intended for commercial profit.

Account Management

  1. Account creation: Players may not use temporary or disposable email addresses to create accounts. If such accounts are detected, all accounts associated with the same IP will be permanently banned.

  2. Account Sharing:
    If you choose to share your account credentials (username, password, or any other access method), you accept full responsibility for any consequences, including loss of items, characters, currency, or account access.
    The staff will not restore any losses caused by account sharing.
    Players are also not allowed to blame, harass, or accuse the staff or the server for losses resulting from shared account access.
    Scams involving shared account access are the sole responsibility of the account owner.
    However, scams that occur through official in-game systems (such as the trade system) may still be investigated by the staff.

  3. Password security: Use a strong, unique password and update it regularly. Avoid using passwords shared with other platforms. Never share your login information with others to protect your account.
  4. Account protection: Do not reuse the same username and password on other private servers. Some servers may attempt to log into your account with malicious intent, protect your data.

  5. Safe Trading: All trades must be carried out through official in-game systems. Private or unofficial transactions are strictly prohibited and will be blocked. The team is not responsible for any loss resulting from such activities.
Penalties
  1. Warning: A first-time minor offense may result in an official warning and guidance to correct the behavior.
  2. Temporary ban: Repeated offenses or moderate violations may lead to a temporary suspension, depending on the severity.
  3. Permanent ban: Severe violations or failure to change behavior after repeated warnings will result in a permanent ban and the loss of all account privileges.

Donations Policy

DBO Galaxy is a fan-made private Dragon Ball Online server created by fans for fans. All payments made are considered voluntary donations to support the server.

Donations are non-refundable, except in special cases such as duplicate payments, technical errors, or other verified payment-related issues. If you have any problem with a donation, you must contact our staff first so we can help resolve the issue before you open a chargeback or dispute through your bank, PayPal, card provider, or payment platform.

For purchases made through our donation store, our system verifies whether the code has been used. If it has not been used, the case may be reviewed for a refund. If it has already been used, all related accounts may be suspended or banned, and the refund will be processed afterwards to the user.

To recover access to suspended accounts after a used code has been refunded, the player must repay the full value of the used product.

Repeated refund abuse will result in increased repayment requirements, including up to double or more of the original amount for repeated offenses, and may lead to permanent bans on all related accounts if we find it necessary.
